Mr. Maksudul Hasan has been appointed as Additional Managing Director of Uttara Bank PLC
Mr. Maksudul Hasan has been appointed as Additional Managing Director of Uttara Bank PLC. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Manging Director of the Bank. He started his Banking career in Uttara Bank PLC in 1989 as a Probationary Officer & since then, he has been working in the same Bank. He worked as Branch Manager both in Non AD & AD Branch. Thereafter, he joined in Head Office. After joining at Head Office, he worked at various Departments and Divisions such as Human Resources Divisions, International Divisions, Risk Management Department, Banking Control & Common Services Division, Internal Control & Compliance Division, Engineering Department, General Services Department, Transport Department, Public Relation Department of the Bank.
Mr. Hasan visited Italy, Spain, France, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai & Indonesia to attend different official meetings, trainings, seminars & symposiums. He was the Chief Risk Officer of the Bank from 26th June, 2019 to 05th June, 2023. He played an important role as Chairman of different Committees of the Bank. He was awarded Integrity Reward for the fiscal year 2021-2022 in recognition of his contributions to the practice of integrity in the Bank.
Mr. Hasan obtained his B.A. (Hon’s) degree in English (12th Batch) in 1985 and M.A. in 1986 from Jahangirnagar University. He comes of a respectable Muslim family from Shibpasha, Upazila Madan in the District of Netrokona.
